LIFE EVERMORE PT 2/FOR I AM DEATH

A „For I Am Death” a The Pretty Reckless készülő ötödik stúdióalbumának vezető kislemeze. A zenekar először 2025. augusztus 18-án utalt a megjelenésre a közösségi médiában, mielőtt hivatalosan augusztus 22-én bemutatták volna a számot. Ez az első vadonatúj számuk a 2021-ben megjelent Death By Rock N Roll óta. Taylor Momsen egy 2023-as, Ronni Hunterrel, a 99.7 The Blitz munkatársával készített interjúban megerősítette, hogy a zenekar elkezdte a munkát a következő albumon

Taylor Momsen „A For I Am Death című dallal azt szeretném, hogy a zene magáért beszéljen, lehetővé téve a hallgató számára, hogy eldöntse, mit jelent számára. A dal értelmezése összhangban lehet a sajátommal, vagy a közönség szívéből jöhet. Akárhogy is, izgatottan várom, hogy mit vonnak le belőle az emberek, és mit jelent számukra. Ja, és a rock and roll soha nem fog meghalni.”
Taylor Momsen „Őszintén szólva, tudni akarom, mit jelent számodra. Azt hiszem, számomra ez a zene. Itt ülhetek, és pontosan elmondhatom, hol voltam, amikor írtam, és mire gondoltam, és mindezeket a dolgokat, de ez valójában nem adja meg a dal jelentését, csak segíthet megmagyarázni, hogyan jutottam el idáig.
